Even people who don't like artichokes will enjoy slices of this delicious crusty bread. The soft interior is rich with sour cream, three kinds of cheese and other goodies.

1 loaf (20 inches) French bread, halved lengthwise
1/2 cup butter
6 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1-1/2 cups sour cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley or 2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
2 teaspoons lemon-pepper seasoning
2 cups (8 ounces) cubed Monterey Jack cheese
1 can (14 ounces) water-packed artichoke hearts, rinsed, drained and chopped
1 can (2-1/4 ounces) sliced ripe olives, drained
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 medium tomato, chopped
Additional parsley

Steps:

  • Carefully hollow out top and bottom of bread, leaving 1/4-in. shells; set aside. Cut removed bread into small cubes. , In a skillet, melt butter. Add the bread cubes, garlic and sesame seeds; cook and stir until butter is absorbed. Remove from the heat., In a bowl, combine sour cream, Parmesan, parsley, lemon-pepper, Monterey Jack cheese, artichokes, olives and bread mixture. Spoon into bread shells; sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Place on ungreased baking sheets. , Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with tomato and additional parsley. Refrigerate any leftovers.

1 unsliced loaf (1/2 pound) French bread
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Slice bread lengthwise; place cut side up on a baking sheet. Spread butter on cut surfaces; sprinkle with half of the Italian seasoning. Top with cheeses and remaining Italian seasoning. , Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Cut widthwise into 1-in. pieces.

We all love those little yummy biscuits we get at Red Lobster, right?! So when I seen a recipe that was suppose to be similar but it was a loaf, I had to try it... I took the recipe and added a couple changes and WOW this bread is amazing!!! I hope you are able to give it a chance!!! Enjoy! :o)

Number Of Ingredients 15

3 c flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp sea salt
1/8-1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, to taste
1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper
6 oz cheese, cheddar or the like, cut into 1/4" cubes
1/2 c parmesan cheese, grated
1 1/4 c milk
3/4 c sour cream
4 Tbsp butter, melted
1 egg
1/2 tsp granulater garlic or powder
BASTING
2 Tbsp butter, melted
1/2 tsp granulated garlic or powder

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease or spray a 9x5 loaf pan, set aside. Whisk together flour, baking powder, garlic, salt, cayenne and black pepper in a large bowl. Add cheese and toss to coat each piece. Set aside. In a medium bowl whisk together milk, sour cream, butter and egg.
  • 2. Gently stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients...mixing gently until just mixed. Pour into prepared loaf pan and bake 45-55 minutes, or until toothpick inserted comes out with just a few crumbs. Remove from oven, stir together melted basting butter and garlic, brush over top of loaf, cool in pan 5 minutes then remove to cooling rack...allow to cool at least 20 minute before serving.
