1 85%-lean ground beef
0.75 c. of white onion
2 (3-oz. each) beef-flavored Ramen noodles
1 (15-oz.) can Hy-Vee diced tomatoes
1 (8-oz.) can Hy-Vee tomato sauce
0.5 c. of Hy-Vee ketchup
2 tsp. of Hy-Vee yellow mustard
2 c. of Hy-Vee smooth and cheesy loaf

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9-inch square baking dish with nonstick spray. Cook ground beef and onions until beef is brown and cooked through (165 degrees); drain.
  • 2. Separate beef ramen noodles into 4 squares. Combine diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, and ramen seasoning packets in a medium bowl. Layer 1 cup tomato mixture, ramen squares, and remaining tomato mixture in prepared dish. Top with cooked ground beef and onions.
  • 3. Bake, covered, for 25 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Top casserole with Hy-Vee smooth and cheesy loaf. Bake, uncovered, 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve topped with lettuce, dill pickles, and chopped tomato, if desired.

1 box macaroni and cheese
1/2 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
Salt and pepper
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 cup shredded cheddar
1 cup shredded mozzarella

Steps:

  • Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees F.
  • Prepare macaroni and cheese as indicated on box. Set aside.
  • In a skillet, add ground beef and onion, season with salt and pepper. Brown meat and drain grease. Mix beef, onions, macaroni and cheese, and Italian seasoning in a shallow baking dish. Top with shredded mozzarella and cheddar. Bake until cheese is melted.

1 lb ground chuck
1 medium onion, Diced
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes
3 (3 ounce) packages beef-flavor ramen noodles
3 cups water
Velveeta cheese

Steps:

  • Brown Hamburger and onion, then add flavoring packets from ramen noodles and simmer for about 4 minutes.
  • Add the water and the tomatoes and bring to a boil.
  • Then add ramen noodles and cook for about 4 minutes more.
  • Pour into a casserole dish (I always SPAM it first) and cover with sliced Velveeta cheese.
  • Bake for 15 minutes at 350° or until cheese is melted.

½ pound ground beef
2 medium (2-1/2" dia)s onions, chopped
1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes with herbs, undrained
2 cups elbow macaroni
1 cup frozen corn
1 green bell pepper, chopped
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 pinch ground black pepper to taste
2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Generously grease an 8-cup baking dish. Place baking dish on a cookie sheet.
  • Heat a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Cook and stir beef and onions until beef is browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain off fat.
  • Drain liquid from canned tomatoes into a 4-cup measuring cup, adding water if needed, to make 2 1/2 cups of liquid. Add juice, tomatoes, macaroni, corn, bell pepper, garlic, soy sauce, chili powder, Italian seasoning, and pepper to the beef mixture; bring to a boil.
  • Pour 1/2 of the beef mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with 1 cup of Mexican cheese, add remainder of beef mixture, and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  • Bake, covered, in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove cover and bake for another 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
