GLUTEN-FREE CHEESE GARLIC BISCUITS

2 cups Bisquick™ Gluten Free mix
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup firm butter or margarine
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (2 oz)
3 eggs
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 425°F. In medium bowl, combine Bisquick mix and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. Cut in 1/4 cup butter, using pastry blender or fork, until mixture looks like coarse crumbs. Stir in milk, cheese and eggs until soft dough forms.
  • Drop dough by 10 spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown. Mix 1/4 cup melted butter and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder; brush on warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet. Serve warm.

I love the flavor mix in this recipe. You would never guess that these are gluten free. I bet everyone will just eat these up!

1/4 c butter, melted
4 eggs
1/3 c coconut flour, sifted
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp baking powder
3/4 c cheddar cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • 1. Blend together eggs, butter, salt, garlic powder and onion powder.
  • 2. Combine coconut flour with baking powder and whisk into batter until there are no lumps.
  • 3. Fold in cheese.
  • 4. Drop batter by the spoonful onto a greased cookie sheet.
  • 5. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes.
