Number Of Ingredients 11

1 Onion, large yellow, chopped
2 Apples, Granny Smith, peeled & chopped
2 Celery stalks, thinly sliced
1/2 cup Dried cranberries
1 tbsp Olive oil
2 tsp Sage
1/2 tsp ea. Rosemary & thyme, chopped
Handful Parsley, chopped
Pinch of Salt & Pepper
1 loaf of low fat whole grain bread
2 cups Chicken broth, reduced sodium

Steps:

  • In large pan, fry onion, apples, celery & cranberries in oil (5 min). Stir in seasonings. In large bowl, toss cooked mixture with bread. Pour chicken broth over mixture & toss to combine. Spoon into nonstick 3L casserole dish. Bake @ 350F for 35-40 min or until lightly browned, stir twice during baking. Before serving, drizzle with a 1/2 cup of "light turkey gravy" (pan juices from turkey, fat removed, 2 cups reduced sodium vegetable broth & 2 tbsp cornstarch, salt & pepper to taste)

2 cups chicken broth or water
1/4 cup margarine or butter
1/3 cup finely chopped celery
1/3 cup finely chopped onion
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1 (6-ounce) package Kellogg's® seasoned stuffing mix

Steps:

  • 1. In 3-quart saucepan, combine chicken broth, margarine, celery, onion and parsley. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture starts to boil. Cover pan, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.2. Add KELLOGG'S Stuffing Mix to hot vegetable mixture, stirring until evenly combined. Cover and remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Gently mix with fork before serving. MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:Using hot broth, combine broth and margarine in microwave safe bowl until margarine melts. Mix in remaining ingredients, stirring until evenly combined. Cover with plastic wrap. Cook at HIGH 6 minutes. Gently mix with fork before serving.Microwave cooking times may vary.
