Great cocktail for the fall-winter holiday's Who doesn't like apple pie? Add caramel & spirits and make it a cocktail! ;)

1 c caramel apple vodka
2 chopped apples
1/4 butterscotch shnapps
6 c cold apple cider
1 1/2 l favorite mild white wine
cinnamon sticks
more sliced apples of choice

Steps:

  • 1. Add chopped apples to large pitcher, add just a few large ice cubes, pour vodka & shnapps over stir well. Pour cider & wine stir again. Pour in glasses over more sliced apples or ice, add cinnamon sticks for stirring. Rims can be moistened with caramel vodka and crushed graham crackers.
  • 2. This wouldn't be so bad warmed either ;)

3-1/2 cups apple cider
1 pkt. (makes 2 qt. drink each) CRYSTAL LIGHT Natural Lemon Flavor Iced Tea Mix*
3 Tbsp. dulce de leche (sweetened milk caramel)
2 apples, cored and chopped (I used Gala and Golden Delicious)
2 cinnamon sticks
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
Pinch of ground cloves
Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
3 cups white wine
1/4 cup spiced rum
seltzer

Steps:

  • In a large sealable jar or container, pour apple cider, drink mix, and dulce de leche. Seal the jar and shake vigorously until dulce de leche and drink mix is dissolved.
  • Add apples, cinnamon sticks, ginger, cloves, nutmeg, wine, and spiced rum; stir to combine.
  • Refrigerate at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld. Remove cinnamon sticks before serving.
  • Serve over ice in tall glasses and top with seltzer.
