APPLE BROWNIES
This was my Mom's recipe. Easy and quick to make. Apples and walnuts are packed into a cinnamon spiced blonde brownie. Always a hit when I bring it to parties. Very moist and great to make in the fall when apples are plentiful.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, beat together the melted butter, sugar, and egg until fluffy. Fold in the apples and walnuts. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon. Stir the flour mixture into the wet mixture until just blended. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Bake 35 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

CARAMEL APPLE BROWNIE DESSERT
Whoa! This dessert is packed with all of your favorites! Fudgey brownies, caramel, crisp apples, peanuts and reese's peanut butter cups! This is a to-die-for dessert that will turn even the pickiest eaters into little pigs!

Steps:
- Combine brownie mix with the oil, water, and eggs.
- Pour into a greased 13x9 inch pan and bake for 25-35 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.
- Cool completely.
- Combine softened cream cheese with 1/4 cup of the caramel dessert topping.
- Spread cream cheese/caramel mixture over cooled brownies.
- Sprinkle chopped apples, peanut butter cups, and peanuts over the cream cheese/caramel mixture.
- Drizzle remaining caramel dessert topping over the dessert.
- Slice into squares.
- Refridgerate left-overs.

CARAMEL APPLE WALNUT BROWNIE PIE
Dense and moist, this decadent pie is a chocolate lovers dream! It's rich in chocolate flavor. There is gooey caramel and slices of warm apples in every bite. We can see why Nancy won first place at her county festival. This is a delicious pie.

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9-inch pie plate with baking spray. Set aside.
- 2. In large bowl of an electric mixer, beat butter until creamy. Gradually add sugar, beating until and fluffy.
- 3. Add melted chocolate and eggs, beat until incorporated.
- 4. Add in flour and salt. Slowly add in milk and vanilla,. Beat incorporating into mixture.
- 5. With a wooden spoon, fold in thinly sliced apple, 1/3 cup caramel topping, and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts.
- 6. Pour mixture into prepared pie plate. Bake 40-45 minutes, or until when a toothpick inserted in pie comes out clean. Cool slightly.
- 7. For topping: Arrange slices of small apple on top of pie, fanning out, and sprinkle 1/2 cup chopped walnuts over top. Pour 1/3 cup caramel topping over apple slices and top of pie.
CARAMEL APPLE MARTINI
Autumn flavors are at their best in this deliciously simple cocktail. Apple-flavored and butterscotch-flavored schnapps mingle together over a layer of fresh-cooked caramel.

- In small microwavable bowl, microwave Caramel ingredients on High 40 to 60 seconds or just until it begins to boil. Dip each apple slice into caramel; sprinkle each with 1/2 tablespoon peanuts. Set aside. Cool remaining caramel slightly.
- Spoon cooled caramel into each of 2 martini glasses. Place glasses in freezer while making martinis.
- In martini shaker, place schnapps, liqueur and vodka; shake well. Strain into chilled martini glasses. Garnish with caramel-dipped apple slices.
