3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
1/3 cup cold butter, cubed
1/3 cup hot caramel ice cream topping

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a small bowl, combine flour and brown sugar; cut in butter until crumbly. Press into a well-greased 13x9-in. baking pan. Bake 15-18 minutes or until lightly browned., Meanwhile, in a large bowl, beat cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs; beat on low speed just until combined. Spread over crust., In a small bowl, toss apples with cinnamon, nutmeg and remaining sugar; spoon over cream cheese layer. In another bowl, mix flour, brown sugar and oats; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apple layer., Bake 25-30 minutes or until filling is set. 1 ½ cups packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 ¼ cups butter, melted
2 cups apples - peeled, cored and sliced

½ cup all-purpose flour

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 15x10 inch jellyroll pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, quick cooking oats, brown sugar, and baking soda. Stir in the melted butter. Mix until crumbly. This is the crust. Press 1/2 of this mixture into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 8 minutes in preheated oven.

1 pkg caramels, unwrapped (14 oz)
5 medium fist-sized apples (I used Cortlands), peeled, cored, & sliced thin
1 1/2 c all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 c brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 c + 1/4 c coarsely chopped pecans
1/4 c milk

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease or spray a 9 x13 pan.
  • 2. Mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl. Set aside.
  • 3. In another bowl, mix brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and 1 cup of the chopped nuts (keep the other 1/4 C for topping).
  • 4. Stir in dry ingredients. When well-mixed reserve 1 cup for topping.
  • 5. Pour into pan (it may be hard to spread but it will eventually, lol). Bake that for 20 minutes.
  • 6. While baking, melt the caramels and milk in the microwave 2-3 mins. Stir carefully after each min (this is also not easy to do but it eventually will get smooth and creamy. Cool that for 5 minutes.
  • 7. When the crust comes out of the oven, drain any juice from the apples. Pour the apples on the crust and spread evenly.
  • 8. Then pour the caramel over the apples staying about 1/2" away from the edges.
  • 9. Then drop teaspoons of the reserved batter over that spreading as well as you can. Sprinkle with reserved chopped pecans.
  • 10. Return to oven and bake for 15 - 20 minutes at 350. Cool well before trying to cut.

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 large egg
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and cut into 1/4-inch pieces
1 cup all-purpose flour
¾ cup old-fashioned oats
⅓ cup packed brown sugar
8 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small pieces

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 baking pan.
  • For the crust, combine all crust ingredients in a mixing bowl and combine until crumbly and butter pieces are no longer visible. Press the mixture on bottom of prepared pan.
  • Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • For the filling, in a large bowl, beat cream cheese until light and creamy.
  • Add Marzetti Old Fashioned Caramel Dip and mix until smooth. On low speed, mix in flour; add egg and vanilla and mix just until blended. Pour cream cheese mixture over baked crust. Arrange apple slices and press them into top of cream cheese layer.
  • Bake 20-25 minutes. Allow bars to cool to room temperature.
  • Cover and chill until firm. Before serving, spread Marzetti Old Fashioned Caramel Dip over top of bars.

1 (15.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
½ cup unsalted butter, cut into cubes
1 cup evaporated milk, divided
3 medium apples - peeled, cored and chopped
1 (11 ounce) package individually wrapped caramels, unwrapped
¼ cup cinnamon chips, or more to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Place cake mix in a bowl and cut in butter with 2 knives or a pastry blender. Stir in 1/2 cup evaporated milk, then apples. Pour 1/2 of the batter into the prepared pan and set remaining batter aside.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  • While bottom bar layer is baking, combine caramel candies and 1/2 cup evaporated milk in a saucepan over low heat; cook and stir until melted. Remove from the heat.
  • Remove the baking pan from the oven and drizzle caramel mixture over top. Sprinkle with cinnamon chips and pour reserved batter over top. Return to the oven and bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 20 to 30 more minutes.

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 cup caramel topping
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  • In a medium bowl, combine flour and brown sugar.
  • Cut in butter with a pastry blender or two forks until mixture is crumbly.
  • Press evenly into a 13 by 9 by 2-inch baking pan lined with heavy-duty aluminum foil.
  • Bake 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • In a large bowl, beat cream cheese with 1/2 cup sugar with an electric mixer at medium speed until smooth.
  • Then add eggs, one at a time, and vanilla.
  • Stir to combine.
  • Pour over warm crust.

2 cups quick cooking oats
1 ½ cups packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 ¼ cups butter
1 ½ cups caramel ice cream topping
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 cups chopped apples
½ cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 15 x 10 x 1 inch pan.
  • In a small pan over low heat, melt the butter or margarine. In large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, 2 cups quick cooking oats, brown sugar, baking soda, and melted butter or margarine. Mix until crumbly. Press half of mixture (about 2-1/2 cups) in the greased pan. Set aside the rest. Bake for 8 minutes.
  • In a small pan over medium heat, combine caramel topping and 1/2 cup flour. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Still stirring constantly, boil for 2 or 3 minutes until slightly thickened. Spread apples and nuts onto the baked crust. Pour hot caramel mixture evenly over apples and nuts. Sprinkle reserved crumbly mixture evenly over the top.

¼ cup shortening
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

½ teaspoon baking soda
4 ½ cups apple - peeled, cored, and chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together the brown sugar, butter and shortening until smooth. Combine 1 3/4 cups flour, oats, baking soda and salt; stir into the creamed mixture until well blended. Set aside 2 cups of this mixture. Press the remaining mixture into the bottom of an ungreased 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a medium bowl, toss apples with lemon juice, then toss them with the 3 tablespoons of flour. Spread the apple mixture evenly over the prepared crust. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt caramels, stirring frequently until smooth. Pour the melted caramels evenly over the apples. Sprinkle the reserved oat mixture over the top of the apple layer. Press down lightly.
