4 tablespoons (2 ounces) unsalted butter
1 (10-ounce) bag marshmallows (47 large)
Pinch salt
5 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
5 1/2 cups Captain Crunch Peanut Butter cereal
1 cup honey roasted peanuts

Steps:

  • Grease a 9- by 9-inch pan. Heat butter in large saucepan (preferably non-stick) over medium-low heat until almost melted. Add marshmallows and salt and heat, stirring, until marshmallows have melted.
  • Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until combined. Stir in cereal and peanuts until combined. Immediately spread into pan and press to smooth top. Let cool until set, about 15 minutes.

Number Of Ingredients 12

2-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 large egg
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
TOPPING:
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted
1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
1-1/2 cups crushed cornflakes

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the first eight ingredients; beat until crumbly. Press into an ungreased 9-in. square baking pan., Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until set. Cool for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine chocolate chips and peanut butter; stir in cornflakes. Gently spread over top. Let stand until set. Cut into bars.

4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
5 cups dry sweetened cereal, crushed

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Place crushed cereal crumbs in a large resealable plastic bag. Add chicken breasts to bag, one at a time. Seal bag and shake to coat. Place coated chicken in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour, or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
