CRANBERRY MEAT LOAF
Everyone in my family loves this unusual recipe. It's especially fun to serve in the fall and around the holidays.

Steps:
- In a large bowl, combine the first eight ingredients. Crumble beef and ham over mixture and mix well. Pat into a greased 9x5-in. loaf pan. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 1-1/4 hours or until a thermometer reads 160°., During the last 15 minutes of baking, baste meat loaf with barbecue sauce if desired. Garnish with bay leaves and cranberries if desired. Discard bay leaves before slicing.

CAPE COD CRANBERRY MEATLOAF
Steps:
- 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- 2. Lightly oil a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
- 3. In a small bowl, combine the cranberry sauce and brown sugar. (NOTE: sometimes I add a few tablespoons of chili sauce for an extra kick)
- 4. Place the cranberry sauce mixture in the bottom of the prepared loaf pan.
- 5. In a large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients except the bay leaves and mix well.
- 6. Set the meatloaf mixture in the pan on top of the sauce.
- 7. Top the loaf with the bay leaves and bake for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
- 8. Allow the loaf to cool for 20 minutes.
- 9. Remove the bay leaves.
- 10. Very carefully turn the loaf onto a serving plate so that the sauce side is up.
- 11. Drizzle the pan juices over the loaf.
