BEST EVER MEATLOAF WITH BROWN GRAVY
This is very tasty and old-fashioned. Serve with mashed potatoes and gravy. Divide into two recipes.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, chili sauce, egg, salt, and freshly ground black pepper; mix well. Shape into an 8x4 inch loaf pan.
- Place loaf pan on a rack in an oven-roasting pan. Bake for 1 hour, or until done. Cook until internal temperature measures 160 degrees F (70 degrees C); the meat should be well done, with no trace of pink. Remove from oven, and allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
- While the meatloaf is resting, prepare the gravy. In a medium saucepan, melt butter or margarine over medium heat. Add mushrooms and onions; cook and stir until tender. Add beef broth; simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Combine water and cornstarch in a small cup; stir into broth. Cook and stir for 1 minute, or until thickened.

ONION AND BROWN GRAVY MEATLOAF
I hated the traditional "tomato ketchup" meatloaf. I wanted something a little different. I came upon a recipe for a brown gravy meatloaf, but I added another simple ingredient that gave it better flavor.

Steps:
- Place Ground Beef in a bowl and add 1 package of your Brown Gravy Mix and 1 package of your Onion Gravy Mix and Black Pepper. Mix into ground beef. Shape into a loaf about 2 inches high (to insure even cooking). Place in a shallow pan (uncovered ) and cook @ 350 F for about 1 hour 15 minutes.
- Prepare together the remaining packages of gravy Brown & Onion according to the directions.
- After meatloaf is cooked all the way through you may drain the fat (slice meatloaf directly in the pan and pour a portion of the gravy mixture over the entire loaf. Place back in the oven for about 5 minutes to set the gravy. The remaining gravy can be used for mashed potatoes, or additional gravy for meatloaf servings.
MEATLOAF MUFFINS WITH BROWN GRAVY
These little guys are so savory and scrumptious! Ground turkey and veal, minced onions, chopped bacon, garlic powder, smokey cumin....yummy! I like to serve these with rice and roasted veggies. Both men and kids will love these individual size meat loaves.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray 2 12-cup muffin pans with cooking spray.
- Place the chopped bacon and onion in a skillet, and cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until the onions are translucent and the bacon is half cooked, about 5 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Place bacon mixture into a large bowl, and mix in the turkey, veal, bread crumbs, milk, eggs, steak sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, basil, ground mustard, cumin, black pepper, sea salt, and sage until thoroughly combined. Fill the sprayed muffin cups with meatloaf mixture, and make a hole in the center of each muffin with your little finger for even cooking.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the juices run clear and the internal temperature is at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C) when measured with a meat thermometer, about 30 minutes. Brush each muffin with barbecue sauce, return to the oven, and bake 5 additional minutes.
- Whisk brown gravy mix and water in a saucepan, and place over medium heat. Continue whisking until the gravy comes to a boil. Reduce heat and allow to simmer until thickened, about 1 minute. To serve, place muffins in a deep serving dish, and pour the brown gravy over them.

- 1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350. IN A LARGE BOWL MIX TOGETHER CHOPD TURKEY, CHOPD BEEF, EGG, BREADCRUMBS, CHILI SAUCE n 1 TBLSPN OF ONION SOUP MIX. BROWN GRAVY MEATLOAF
This recipe was inspired by a recipe I saw on Pinterest. I did quite a bit of tweeking to the steps, and I added my own touches to enhance the flavor. I think it turned out great! My husband loved it, and said I could make it again (that's a 5 star rating from him, lol!) And it looks so pretty with mashed potatoes in the middle, drizzled with gravy! It's good, old-fashioned comfort food. Delish!

- Gather ingredients.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a bundt pan with nonstick spray; set aside.
- Small dice 1/2 of a medium-small onion (1/3 cup.)
- Place diced onions in a medium size microwave safe bowl (pyrex.) Add 1 cup water. Cover with wax paper; microwave on high for 3 minutes, or until beginning to boil.
- Add stuffing mix to hot water; stir well to moisten all; cover with waxpaper; set aside for at least 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, mix together well, ground beef, pepper, salt (optional) and beaten eggs (I wear food-safe plastic gloves and use my hands.)
- Sprinkle 1 package of brown gravy mix over meat mixture; incorporate thoroughly.
- After stuffing has rested for 5 minutes, add stuffing to the ground beef mixture; mix well to thoroughly incorporate.
- Firmly and evenly press ground beef mixture into prepared bundt pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 45-55 minutes (until internal temperature reaches at least 165 degrees F.)

- Remove from oven; let rest 5-10 minutes; invert onto serving plate.
- Prepare gravy according to package directions.
