2 cups ice
1/2 ounce Gosling's dark rum
1 ounce Kahlua
1 ounce Patron XO Cafe Liqueur
1/4 cup heavy cream
2-3 tablespoons chocolate syrup
1/2 large banana
Whipped cream and cocoa powder for topping

Steps:

  • Combine ice, dark rum, Kahlua, cafe liqueur, heavy cream, chocolate syrup, and banana in a blender.
  • Blend until thick and creamy. Pour into 2 small glasses or 1 large glass.
  • Top with whipped cream before serving. Sprinkle lightly with cocoa powder, if desired.

2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened, divided
2 cans (14 ounces each) sweetened condensed milk, divided
1-1/2 cups Kahlua (coffee liqueur), chilled
2-1/2 cups cold 2% milk, divided
2 packages (3.9 ounces each) instant chocolate pudding mix
3 cartons (8 ounces each) frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided
9 whole chocolate graham crackers, coarsely crushed
2 packages (3.4 ounces each) instant banana cream pudding mix
1-1/2 cups coarsely crushed vanilla wafers (about 45 wafers)
5 medium bananas, sliced
Additional wafers, crushed chocolate graham crackers and sliced bananas

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, beat 1 package cream cheese and 1 can condensed milk until blended. Beat in Kahlua, 1/2 cup milk and chocolate pudding mixes until thickened, about 2 minutes. Fold in 1 carton whipped topping, then chocolate graham crackers. Set aside., In another large bowl, beat remaining cream cheese and condensed milk until blended. Beat in the remaining 2 cups milk and the banana pudding mixes until thickened, about 2 minutes. Fold in 1 carton whipped topping, vanilla wafers and bananas., Spread chocolate pudding mixture in the bottom of a 6- or 7-qt. trifle bowl or glass bowl. Layer with 1-1/2 cups whipped topping and banana pudding mixture; top with remaining 1-1/2 cups whipped topping. Cover and refrigerate overnight., Garnish with additional wafers, crushed chocolate graham crackers and sliced bananas before serving.

1 ounce cuban rum (aged)
1/2 ounce banana liqueur
1/2 ounce coffee liqueur
1 ounce cream
1 ounce milk
banana

Steps:

  • Fill a sling glass to the rim with crushed ice.
  • Put a small amount of crushed ice in the blender container.
  • Pour aged rum of cuban type, banana liqueur, coffee liqueur, cream and milk over the crushed ice.
  • Close the lid on the blender and run until the drink is smooth. Add some more liquid if it's too hard, and more ice if it's too runny.
  • Pour the drink into the sling glass.
  • Garnish with a banana (slice).

Boozy baked caramelised bananas image

Use up your bananas and transform them into our boozy baked caramelised dessert with the help of rum, maple syrup and pecans

6 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced in half lengthways
2 tbsp dark brown soft sugar
2 tbsp maple syrup
3-4 tbsp rum or whisky
40g pecans, toasted and chopped
vanilla or salted caramel ice cream, to serve

Steps:

  • Heat the oven to 220C/200C fan/gas 8. Toss the banana halves in an ovenproof dish with the sugar, maple syrup and rum or whisky. Sprinkle with a small pinch of salt, if you like.
  • Bake for 15 mins, then remove from the oven. Heat the grill to high and grill the bananas for 3-5 mins, or until bubbling and caramelised. Spoon the bananas into bowls and scatter over the pecans. Serve with ice cream, and any of the caramelised syrup from the dish drizzled over the top.

3 ounces Tia Maria
3 ounces rum cream liqueur
3 ounces dark rum
6 ounces milk
2 ounces simple syrup
1 1/2 bananas

  • Fill blender 3/4 way with ice.
  • Add all the ingredients and blend well.
  • Note: simple syrup is a mixture of 1/2 water& 1/2 sugar that is simmered til sugar is dissolved& cooled.
