BONNIE'S APPLE CAKE
This is a recipe I got from my mother many years ago and is just delicious! :) A true comfort food that deserves a cup of coffee or tea on a cold weather day. This would be a wonderful addition to your Thanksgiving or Christmas buffet. Enjoy!!! :)

Steps:
- 1. Grease and flour bundt or angel food cake pan.
- 2. Add batter (will be a little thick) and bake at 350* for 1 hour.
- 3. Cool in pan about 15 minutes. Remove and wrap in foil till cold. Yummy!!! :)

Steps:
- 1. Preheat Oven to 350 degrees. Spray bundt pan with bakers choice (preferrably).
- 2. In med. bowl mix eggs, oil, cinnamon, apples and walnuts. Make sure apples get coated good. In large bowl mix flour and sugar till well blended. Then add your wet ingredients. Will become very thick. I smash the mixture with a cake spatula. To ensure it all mixes in.
- 3. Pour mixture into bundt pan. Bake at 350 for 55 to 60 minutes. When butter knife comes out clean cake is done. Let cake cool for 5 to 10 minutes and release from pan while cake is still warm. Each oven varies.
- 4. I like a glaze over my cake.I add it when the cake has cooled down to when it is just warm So i use the following ingredients. Put ingredients in zip- loc bag, cut small tip of bag, squeeze over cake 1/4 -cup milk 2- cups powdered sugar 1/2 tsp. vanilla

- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom and sides of rectangular pan, 13 x 9 x 2 inches, or 2 round pans, 9 x 1 1/2 inches; lightly flour.
- Beat sugar, butter/margarine, vanilla and eggs in large bowl with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds, scraping bowl constantly. Beat on high speed 5 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Beat in flour, baking powder and salt alternatively with milk on low speed. Pour into pan(s).
- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes if using the rectangular pan, 30 to 35 minutes if using the round pans, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool rectangular pan on wire rack. Cool round pans 10 minutes; remove to wire rack. Cool completely.
- TO MAKE THE FROSTING: Mix all ingredients except vanilla in 2 1/2 quart saucepan. Heat to rapid boil, stirring occasionally. Boil 1 minute without stirring. Place saucepan in bowl of ice and water. Beat until frosting is smooth and of spreading consistency. Stir in vanilla.
