JUICIEST HAMBURGERS EVER

Juiciest Hamburgers Ever image

No more dry, lackluster burgers. These are juicy, and spices can be easily added or changed to suit anyone's taste. Baste frequently with your favorite barbeque sauce. If you find the meat mixture too mushy, just add more bread crumbs until it forms patties that hold their shape.

BODACIOUS HAMBURGERS

Bodacious Hamburgers image

These burgers are a real hit with my family and friends. The original recipe came from msn lifestyles section and after some tweaking, I believe I have perfected the grilled burger! Try it and let me know, I have never had a bad comment from anyone, even my picky children. Thanks and ENJOY! P.S. I just tried a little substitution last week..instead of the hot souce, try Chipotle peppers in Adobo sauce.....Excellent option! Great flavor and heat.

Time 35m

Yield 4 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 17

1 garlic clove, minced
2 tablespoons onions
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon steak sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon cooking oil
2 -3 dashes bottled hot pepper sauce
1 lb lean ground beef
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 hamburger buns
4 slices American cheese
4 lettuce leaves
4 slices tomatoes
4 slices sweet onions
4 slices pickles

Steps:

  • In a food processor, combine garlic or onion, catsup, steak sauce, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, cooking oil, and hot pepper sauce. Pulse until a semi smooth paste forms.
  • In a medium mixing bowl combine ground beef, salt, and pepper, and paste from previous ingredients, mix well. Shape meat mixture into four 3/4-inch-thick patties.
  • I like to let them sit in the fridge for an hour or so, while my charcoal grill heats to let the flavors meld through out the burgers.
  • To Cook by Direct Grill Method: In a covered grill arrange preheated coals evenly. Test for medium heat above the rack. Place meat on the grill rack over coals. Cover and grill for 15 to 20 minutes or until instant-read thermometer inserted in side of burger registers 160°F, turning once halfway through grilling time.
  • To serve, split and toast the buns on the grill. Serve patties in buns with cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and pickle, if desired. I like a little Thousand Island dressing too! Makes 4 servings.
  • This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled to accommodate you crowd.

THE BEST HAMBURGER RECIPE (AND AMAZING SECRET SAUCE)

The Best Hamburger Recipe (and amazing secret sauce) image

Yield 5

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 pound ground beef (I used 80/20 - fattier meat means a juicier burger!)
1/2 cup shredded Monterey jack cheese
1/4 cup BBQ sauce
1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
pepper, to taste
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup pickle relish
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
5 hamburger buns (we like sesame seed buns)

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, shredded cheese, bbq sauce, and seasonings. Don't add too much bbq sauce or the patties will have a hard time taking shape. Shape patties that are about 1 inch thick (about 5 patties). (You can also freeze the patties after shaping them for about 1 hour to help them hold their shape.)
  • Turn grill up to high and let it get hot.
  • Reduce heat to medium-high and place the burgers on the grill. Allow this side of the patty to cook for about 4-6 minutes, but make sure it does not burn. Then flip the burger over and cook until done.
  • For the sauce, combine all sauce ingredients and whisk until well mixed. Taste and adjust ingredients to your liking.
  • Assemble the burgers and serve with the special sauce and other hamburger toppings of choice.
