- Place the pot on the stove over medium-high heat and add 1/2 to 1 cup of hot water. Scrape the pan to loosen up the bits and cook for 5 minutes to reduce. Pour in the barbecue sauce and stir to heat.
- Shred the meat with two forks, add the sliced onions to the pork and then toss in the barbecue sauce until it's coated to your liking! Serve on hamburger rolls.
CRANBERRY BBQ PULLED PORK
Cranberry sauce adds a yummy twist to pulled pork, and my family can't get enough of it! The pork cooks to tender perfection in the slow cooker, which also makes this dish conveniently portable. -Carrie Wiegand, Mount Pleasant, Iowa

SHREDDED PORK BARBECUE
I was getting tired of grilling hot dogs and hamburgers at cookouts, especially if rain ruined our plans, so these sandwiches are a nice change. The pork mixture can be baked ahead of time and reheated before serving, so it's convenient as well. A big hit at baby showers and wedding receptions, it truly is a family favorite.
