2 cups water

Steps:

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes; drain and discard grease.
  • Stir rice portion of packaged rice mix into beef; cook and stir until rice is lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Pour water into beef and rice, stir seasoning packet from rice into mixture, and cover skillet. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer until the liquid has been almost completely absorbed, about 30 minutes.

3 cups rice, cooked. Cooked oatmeal can be substituted
2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped bite-size
1/2 cup chopped vegetables, cooked and pureed
1 tablespoon fish, oil. salmon oil can be substituted
1 teaspoon vitamin E, oil

Steps:

  • Place chicken livers in a large pot. Cover with water.
  • Bring to boil. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until livers are cooked through.
  • Drain, rinse and cool completely. Cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • Return to pot. Add prepared rice or oatmeal, eggs, vegetables, salmon or fish oil and Vitamin E oil.
  • Stir well to combine.
  • Divide into serving-size portions. This should stay good in the refrigerator for 3 days. Freeze any portion that will not be used within that time.

2 lbs ground lamb
2 tablespoons flax seed oil

Steps:

  • Heat water in medium saucepan until boiling. Stir in rice. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for about 30-40 minutes or until rice is tender and water is absorbed. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely.
  • Meanwhile, in a large skillet, crumble ground lamb. Cook over medium heat just until lamb is cooked through but not browned. Remove from heat. Drain and rinse to remove excess fat. Allow to cool completely.
  • In a large mixing bowl or in the same large skillet combine rice, lamb and flaxseed oil. Stir to combine completely.
  • Package into individual meals. This should keep for 3 days in the refrigerator. Freeze any meals that won't be used within that time.
