Sprinkle this garlic- flavored mix on meat or fish just before cooking.

1/2 c garlic powder
2 Tbsp onion powder
4 tsp paprika
2 tsp dry mustard
2 tsp dried thyme, crumbled
1 tsp black pepper
1 dried cayanne pepper crushed finely

Steps:

  • 1. Place all the ingredients in a pint jar, cover tightly, and shake to mix well.
  • 2. Sprinkle about 1/4 tea. on each side of steaks, chops, chicken, fish, or vegetables before grilling, broiling, or roasting.
  • 3. Store the mix in a cool dark, and dry place. Keeps up to 6 months. Makes about 3/4 cup.

3 teaspoons ground cayenne pepper
6 tablespoons dark chili powder
12 tablespoons paprika
6 tablespoons ground cumin
12 tablespoons granulated sugar

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients, mix thoroughly.
  • Place in jar with tight fitting lid, use as desired.
