This dish is quick, easy, and even better, it's healthy! Served on a bed of rice with the sauce arranged artistically around the plate, it looks absolutely stunning.

4 (4 ounce) fillets tilapia
butter flavored cooking spray
4 teaspoons margarine, melted
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill weed
1 tablespoon lemon-pepper seasoning
4 teaspoons cream cheese
5 tablespoons lemon juice, or to taste
2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill weed

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Grease a baking sheet with cooking spray. Place the tilapia fillets on the sheet, and coat them lightly with cooking spray. Spoon the melted margarine over each fillet, then drizzle with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Season with lemon pepper and 2 tablespoons of dill.
  • Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily.
  • While the fish is baking, combine the cream cheese, 5 tablespoons of lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of dill in a small bowl. Heat in the microwave for 1 minute and 10 seconds, then stir to blend.
  • Place fillets onto serving plates, and spoon sauce around them in a decorative fashion.

1 cup panko bread crumbs
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons snipped fresh dill
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
4 tilapia fillets (6 ounces each)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Lemon wedges

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°. Toss together first 5 ingredients., Place tilapia in a 15x10x1-in. baking pan coated with cooking spray; brush with lemon juice. Top with crumb mixture, patting to help adhere., Bake, uncovered, on an upper oven rack until fish just begins to flake easily with a fork, 12-15 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges.

4 4 oz. tilapia fillets
salt and pepper to taste
1 Tbsp cajun seasoning
1 lemon thinly sliced
1/4 c mayonnaise
1/2 c sour cream
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
2 Tbsp chopped fresh dill

Steps:

  • 1. Pre heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  • 2. Season fillets with Salt, pepper, and cajun seasoning on both sides.
  • 3. Arrange fillets in a single layer and place a layer of lemon slices over the fish. Usually 2 or 3 slices will cover most of the surface of the fish.
  • 4. Bake uncovered at 350 for 15-20 min or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  • 5. While the fish is baking mix the mayonaise, sour cream, garlic, lemon juice and dill in a small bowl and serve with the tilapia.

3 tablespoons butter, melted

1 tablespoon dried dill
2 garlic cloves, minced (or 1tsp of garlic seasoning)

  • Add dill, mix well, let cook another 2 minutes.
