CHEESY BACON SPINACH DIP

The best and cheesiest, creamiest dip you will ever have - after all, you just can't go wrong with bacon!

Number Of Ingredients 11

6 slices bacon, diced
8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 cups baby spinach, chopped
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves

Steps:

  • Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add bacon and cook until brown and crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly oil a 9-inch baking dish or coat with nonstick spray. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan, mayonnaise and Worcestershire. Stir in bacon, spinach, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese and 1/2 cup cheddar cheese; season with salt and pepper, to taste. Spread bacon mixture into the prepared baking dish; sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheeses. Place into oven and bake until bubbly and golden, about 20-25 minutes. Serve immediately, garnished with bacon and parsley, if desired.

1 tablespoon bacon grease
1/2 yellow onion, finely diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
Pinch of crushed red pepper flakes (for a little spice because Trisha likes it)
Salt and ground black pepper
Salt and ground black pepper
12 ounces baby spinach

Steps:

  • In a large saute pan, melt the bacon grease over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and stir to cook until the onions are very soft, about 5 minutes. Add the vinegar, crushed red pepper flakes, salt and pepper and stir; add the spinach and toss it around, cooking until it's just wilted, 1 to 2 minutes. Serve immediately so the spinach is wilted but not soggy.

1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
6 -8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 -3 green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
2 teaspoons lemon juice

Steps:

  • Drain spinach.
  • Combine spinach and remaining ingredients in a large bowl; stir well.
  • Spoon into a greased shallow 1 quart baking dish.
  • Bake uncovered, at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
  • Serve with crackers.

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1 can (15-1/4 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained
8 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
Assorted raw vegetables and/or crackers

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Stir in corn and bacon. Cover and refrigerate for several hours. Serve with vegetables and/or crackers.

4 slices bacon, thinly sliced crosswise
1 medium yellow onion, diced medium
coarse salt and ground pepper
1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
2 packages (10 ounces each) frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup sour cream
1 bar (8 ounces) cream cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
Crostini or pita chips, for serving

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium saucepan, cook bacon over medium, stirring occasionally, until browned and crisp, 10 minutes. Drain bacon on paper towels. Discard all but 1 tablespoon fat from pan. Add onion to pan, season with salt and pepper, and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, 8 minutes. Add flour and cook 30 seconds. Add spinach, milk, sour cream, and cream cheese. Cook, stirring, until cream cheese melts, 2 minutes. Stir in bacon and 1/4 cup Parmesan.
  • Transfer mixture to a 1 1/2-quart baking dish and top with 1/4 cup Parmesan. Bake until bubbling, 14 minutes. Heat broiler and broil until top browns, 3 minutes. Let sit 5 minutes. Serve dip warm with crostini or pita chips.

3 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 small onion, chopped
1 cup fresh corn kernels (from about 2 ears)
2 cups tightly packed fresh spinach, chopped
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cubed
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
1/2 cup KRAFT Shredded Mozzarella Cheese with a TOUCH OF PHILADELPHIA

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350ºF.
  • Cook and stir bacon in large skillet until crisp. Remove bacon from skillet with slotted spoon; drain on paper towels. Discard all but 1 Tbsp. drippings from skillet.
  • Add onions to reserved drippings; cook and stir 4 to 5 min. or until crisp-tender. Add corn and spinach; cook 2 to 3 min. or just until spinach is wilted. Add cream cheese and milk; cook and stir 3 min. or until cream cheese is completely melted. Remove from heat. Stir in Parmesan, mozzarella and bacon.
  • Spread onto bottom of 9-inch pie plate sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Bakes 20 to 25 min. or until heated through.
