1 head cauliflower, broken into florets
1 cup almond flour
2 eggs
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
salt and ground black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, or as needed

Steps:

  • Bring water to boil in a saucepan. Add cauliflower; boil until tender, about 15 minutes. Strain cauliflower, transfer to a bowl, and mash with a fork.
  • Stir almond flour, eggs, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper into cauliflower until well-combined; form into 1/4-cup sized patties.
  • Heat 1 teaspoon olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry patties in a single layer until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side. Repeat with remaining patties and olive oil.

These cheesy cauliflower patties are easy and simple to make and everyone loves these.

1 head cauliflower
2 large eggs
1/2 c cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 c panko bread crumbs
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
salt
olive oil

Steps:

  • 1. Cut cauliflower into florets and cook in boiling water until tender about 10 minutes. Drain. Mash the cauliflower while still warm. Stir cheese, eggs, panco, cayenne and salt to taste.
  • 2. Coat the bottom of a griddle or skillet with olive oil over medium high heat. Form the cauliflower mixture into patties about 3 inches across.
  • 3. Cook until golden brown and set about 3 minutes per side. Keep each batch warm in the oven while you cook the rest.

My Aunt Jessie made these for our Christmas Eve dinner. Some of us were not big fans of the seven fish dishes, so these were always a fav.

1 bag of frozen cauliflower
1 clove crushed garlic
flour-enough to just hold together
salt and pepper to taste
olive oil for frying
grated fresh italian cheese to taste...i love a lot
1 egg

Steps:

  • 1. I microwave the cauliflower just to a semi soft stage in some water
  • 2. drain and mash well
  • 3. add all ingredients, mix well
  • 4. spoon into oil and fry to golden brown. I use a serving spoon, seems to be a good size. Drain can be made ahead of time then heated up in toaster oven.

2 cups riced cauliflower
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon curry powder
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 large eggs, beaten
2 green onions, sliced thin
2 cloves garlic, minced
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Vegetable oil, for frying
Sea salt
1 cup Greek yogurt
1 lemon, zested and juiced
1 tablespoon minced fresh cilantro, plus more for garnish
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Hot sauce, to taste

Steps:

  • For the cauliflower cakes: In a large bowl, mix the cauliflower, cornstarch, flour, curry powder, cumin, eggs, green onions, garlic and good pinch of kosher salt and pepper. Scoop 2-tablespoon portions of the mixture, form into patties and put on a plate.
  • Heat 1/2 inch of oil to around 350 degrees F in a large, heavy-bottomed skillet. Add the patties in batches and fry until golden and crisp, 2 to 2 1/2 minutes per side. Remove to a paper towel-lined plate and sprinkle with sea salt.
  • For the yogurt sauce: Mix the yogurt, lemon zest and juice and cilantro in a small bowl. Season with kosher salt, pepper and hot sauce.
  • Place the cakes on a platter and dress each with a little of the yogurt sauce, then garnish with cilantro leaves. Serve the remaining sauce on the side.

This is one of my Mother's recipes and it is delicious. If cauliflower is your favorite vegetable then you'll like this. I'm pretty sure of it because cauliflower is not one of my favorite veggies and I like this one a lot.

1 egg
1/4 cup breadcrumbs or 1/4 cup flour
oil

Steps:

  • Cook cauliflower in water until soft.
  • Mash cauliflower.
  • Let it cool enough to handle.
  • Add egg and breadcrumbs or flour and mix well.
  • Shape into patties.
  • Heat oil in frying pan.
  • Put two or three cauliflower patties in at a time.
  • Fry three or four minutes on each side or until brown.

1 head cauliflower
6 eggs
1/4 cup Bisquick baking mix
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
oil (for frying, I use half vegetable half olive oil)

Steps:

  • Cook cauliflower till very tender and separate and chop into tiny pieces.
  • Beat the eggs. Add bisquick, cheese, garlic powder and cauliflower until blended.
  • Heat oil to coat and large frying pan.
  • Drop spoonfuls of cauliflower mixture into the pan allowing room for patties to spread.
  • Cook till brown on both sides and drain on plate covered with paper towels.
  • Sprinkle with additional parmesan cheese if desired.
  • Serve these as an appetizer or a side dish with Zucchini sticks, stuffed mushrooms, etc.
