AUNT DEBBIE'S CHERRY DESSERT
My mom got this recipe from Aunt Debbie. As a kid I use to think this was almost like heaven. It tastes a bit like cheese cake, but fluffier. The last time I made it for a BUNKO night, the ladies gobbled it up.

AUNT HELEN'S CHERRY DESSERT
My great-Aunt Helen was a fantastic cook, and here's another one of her recipes. This is always a hit whenever one of us in the family makes it! Note: You can use cool whip instead of dream whip.

Steps:
- 1. Crust: Preheat oven to 350 degree F. In a small bowl, mix together the crumbs and sugar. Add butter and stir thoroughly, making sure all crumbs are moistened. Place in 9 inch pie plate. I use a metal measuring cup to evenly press crumbs against sides of plate. Pat bottom of crust evenly. Bake for 10 minutes. Cool completely. Can also use store bought crust, but homemade is always better!
- 2. In a med bowl, whip cream cheese. Add sugar and thoroughly blend. Stir in sour cream and vanilla, incorporating well. Fold in the 2 cups of cool whip until completely incorporated.
- 3. Spread into cooled crust. Top with favorite fruit and chill for at least a couple hours. Enjoy!
