The spiked Arnold Palmer is a boozy twist on the famous iced tea and lemonade drink. It's easy and this recipe shows you how to make lemonade by the glass.

For the Lemonade:
2 ounces simple syrup
4 ounces water
2 ounces fresh lemon juice
For the Cocktail:
2 ounces vodka
2 to 3 ounces lemonade
2 to 3 ounces iced tea
Garnish: lemon wheel
Garnish: mint sprig

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, pour the simple syrup and water. Add the lemon juice, straining it through a fine-mesh strainer if you want to remove the pulp and seeds.
  • Shake well .
  • Strain into a tall glass . You should have about 8 ounces of lemonade, enough for 3 or 4 spiked Arnold Palmers. Keep the excess covered in the refrigerator until needed.
  • In a highball glass filled with ice, pour the vodka.
  • Top with equal parts of iced tea and lemonade.
  • Stir well .
  • Garnish with a lemon wheel and mint sprig. Serve and enjoy.

2 cups fresh brewed tea, chilled
2 cups chilled lemonade (recommended: Simply Lemonade)
1 quart Sauvignon Blanc, chilled
Simple syrup, (equal parts water and sugar heated until sugar dissolves and cooled)
1 orange, thinly sliced
1 lime, thinly sliced
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 pint strawberries, quartered
1 pint blackberries, sliced in 1/2

Steps:

  • Combine the tea, lemonade and wine in a large pitcher. Taste for sweetness and add simple syrup, if needed. Add the orange, lime slices, lemon slices and strawberry and blackberries. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours and up to 24 hours. Serve chilled over ice.

4 cups boiling water
4 cups ice cubes
4 cups prepared lemonade

Steps:

  • Steep the tea bags in the boiling water for 10 minutes. Discard the tea bags and allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
  • To prepare the drinks, fill 4 glasses with ice cubes and pour 1 cup of lemonade into each glass. Carefully pour 1 cup of cooled tea into each glass so that it floats on the lemonade.
