Amazing Peanut Butter & Brownie Trifle image

Two of my most favorite things combined into one dish!!! YAHOO! And it looks so amazing in a trifle bowl.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 fudge brownie mix(13x9 pan size)
1 pkg 10 ounes peanut butter chips
2 pkg 13 ounces each miniature peanut butter cups
4 c cold 2% milk
2 pkg 5.1 ounces each instant vanilla pudding mix
1 c creamy peanut butter
4 tsp vanilla extract
3 pkg 8 ounces each frozen whipped topping thawed

Steps:

  • 1. Prepare brownie batter according to package directions; stir in peanut butter chips before baking.
  • 2. Bake in a greased 13inch x 9inch baking pan at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick insered near center comes out with moist crumbs. DO NOT OVERBAKE
  • 3. Cool on a wire rack; cut into 3/4 inch pieces.
  • 4. Cut peanut butter cups in half; set aside 1/3 cup for garnish.
  • 5. In a large bowl, whisk milk and pudding mixes for 2 minutes or until soft-set.
  • 6. Add peanut butter and vanilla to pudding and mix well. Fold in 1-1/2 cartons whipped topping.
  • 7. Place a third of the brownies in a 5 quart glass bowl; top with a third of the remaining peanut butter cups. Spoon a third of the pudding mixture over top. Repeat layers twice. Cover with remaining whipped topping; garnish with reserved peanut butter cups.
  • 8. Refrigerate until chilled.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 (21 1/2 ounce) package Deluxe peanut butter brownie mix or 1 (21 1/2 ounce) package chocolate peanut butter brownie mix
1 (5 1/8 ounce) package vanilla instant pudding mix
3 cups milk
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup whipping cream, whipped and divided
2 1/2 cups coarsely chopped peanut butter cups
peanut butter cup, sliced

Steps:

  • Line a 13"x9"x2" pan with a large sheet of aluminum foil, allowing foil to extend 2" out of both ends of dish.
  • Prepare brownie mix according to package directions, using packets included in package.
  • Bake according to package directions in prepared pan.
  • Cool completely.
  • Lift foil out of pan.
  • Invert brownies onto cutting board; remove foil.
  • Cut brownies into 3/4" pieces, using a sharp knife.
  • Combine vanilla pudding mix and milk in a large mixing bowl; beat at low speed of an electric mixer 2 minutes or until thickened.
  • Add peanut butter and vanilla; beat until smooth.
  • Gently fold in half of whipped cream.
  • Set remaining whipped cream aside (about 1 cup).
  • Place half of brownies in bottom of a 3-quart trifle bowl; top with 1 1/4 cups chopped peanut butter cup candies and half of pudding.
  • Repeat layers with remaining half of brownies, 1 1/4 cups peanut butter cup candies, and pudding.
  • Pipe or spoon reserved whipped cream over trifle.
  • Garnish if desired.
