THE DOVE'S NEST ALMOND BACON CHEDDAR SPREAD
From The Dove's Nest Restaurant in Waxahachie, Texas. This spread makes a delicious sandwich on toasted bread. Serve it within a few hours--it doesn't keep well. But it sure is good for a few hours--if it lasts that long.

ALMOND CHEDDAR APPETIZERS
I always try to have a supply of these appetizers on hand in the freezer. If guests drop in, I just pull some out and reheat to serve. They work great as a snack, for brunch or along with a lighter lunch. -Linda Thompson, Southampton, Ontario

ABC CHEESE DIP
My children like this dip because the seasoning is mild. You can use plain veggie sticks or cut out numbers and letters from the sweet peppers. -Kimberly Miller, Norfolk, Virginia
