Steps:
- In a bowl, you will add your ranch, Italian mix, and brown gravy packets together. Stir and then seasoning your beef roast with some of the seasoning mix.
- Turn your Instant Pot to the saute and add in the oil. Once hot toss your roast in and sear both sides of the meat. Remove the roast. You just want to brown the outside not cook the roast fully.
- Add in your beef stock and use a wooden spoon to scrape the bottom of the Instant Pot to deglaze the pan.
- Return the roast and add in the rest of the packet seasoning. Place the lid on the Instant Pot making sure the valve is set to sealing.
- Pressure cook on high - manual setting for 1 hour and 10 minutes, followed by 15-minute natural release.
- Release any leftover pressure on the Instant Pot. Add in your carrots and potatoes, and place lid and cook for 13 minutes with a quick release. If you don't want to do veggies skip this step.
- Remove cooked pot roast (and vegetables), and then turn the saute feature on. In a bowl add your cold water with cornstarch and stir into the liquid. It will begin to thicken as it heats.
- Once the gravy is thick use it to pour over your three packet pot roast! Serve and enjoy.

Steps:
- - Mix dry mixes thoroughly into water.
- - Place beef in Crock Pot.
- - Cover with gravy and place on lid.
- - Cook on LOW for 6-8 hours until meat is easily pierced by fork.
- - OPTIONAL: Add vegetables after first 3 hours of cooking to avoid them becoming too soft.
- ENJOY!
- NOTE: Because recipes need exacting amounts it was hard to list the envelope quantities. For clarity, my Italian Dressing envelope was 0.7 (19g) ounce size, My Ranch was 1 ounce (28g) size and my Beef Gravy mix was 0.87 (24g) size. These sizes worked perfectly for flavor and were not over-salty.

Steps:
- 1. Combine water and all three envelopes of dry salad dressings. Whisk together until blended completely.
- 2. Sear your roast in saute pan until browned on all sides. This helps to hold in the juices. Add the meat to your slow cooker.
- 3. Pour the salad dressing mixture over the roast. Cook on high for 4 hours, or on low for 8 hours. (I prefer the lower temperature and longer cooking time). The meat will melt in you mouth. Note: Serve with mashed potatoes and veggies of your choice.

TINA'S POT ROAST
This tender pot roast is a hearty, "feel good" meal. It's also kid-friendly. Even picky eaters usually gobble it up. The last time I made this for my family, the gravy was so tasty that we poured it over the entire meal-meat, carrots, and potatoes! -Tina Meyer, Lake Orion, Michigan
