BECEL OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES image

1 1/2 cups All purpose flour
1 1/2 cups uncooked quick or old fashioned oats
1 teaspoon Baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup Becel Buttery Taste Margarine
1 3/4 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
1 large Western Family egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 375‹F (190‹C). Step 2: Combine flour, oats, baking soda and salt in medium bowl; set aside. Step 3: Beat Becel Buttery Taste Margarine with brown sugar in large bowl with electric mixer until creamy, about 3 minutes. Beat in Western Family egg and vanilla until blended. Gradually beat in flour mixture just until blended. Step 4: Stir in chocolate. Step 5: Drop dough by tablespoonfuls on ungreased baking sheet, 2 inches (5cm) apart. Bake just until edges are golden, about 8 minutes. Step 6: Cool sheets 2 minutes on wire rack; remove cookies from sheets and cool completely.
