Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350
- Mix four, baking soda, salt and set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs.
- Add mashed banana and sour cream to batter.
- Fold dry ingredients and creamed mixture stirring just to blend.
- In bowl, combine finely chopped nuts, 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle half of this mixture over bottom of well-greased tube pan.
- Spoon in half the batter.
- Sprinkle remaining nut mixture and over with rest of batter.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until cake is nicely browned. It took me 55 minutes.
