Banana Bread with Sour Cream image

1/2 cup Room temperature butter
2 Eggs
1/2 cup Sugar
2 Banana large - equivalent to 1 cup
2 cups Flour
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1/2 cup Chopped nuts
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/4 cup Sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Mix four, baking soda, salt and set aside.
  • Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs.
  • Add mashed banana and sour cream to batter.
  • Fold dry ingredients and creamed mixture stirring just to blend.
  • In bowl, combine finely chopped nuts, 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle half of this mixture over bottom of well-greased tube pan.
  • Spoon in half the batter.
  • Sprinkle remaining nut mixture and over with rest of batter.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until cake is nicely browned. It took me 55 minutes.
