Number Of Ingredients 13

1.5 pounds Boneless chicking breast or thighs
.5 tablespoon minced garlic
.5 teaspoon turmeric
.5 teaspoon cumin
2.5 teaspoons garam masala
2 tablespoons red chili powder
1 lemon
3 sprigs chopped curry leaves
1 egg
2 tablespoons cornflour
.5 teaspoon mustard seeds
3 tablespoons tomato sauce
1 tablespoon natural yogurt

Steps:

  • Marinate chicken for 2hrs to overnight: garlic, turmeric, cumin, 2 tbsp garam masala (not all), chili powder, 2 sprigs curry (not all), lemon juice and salt.
  • Preheat oven to 400 F
  • Line baking tray with parchment paper
  • Add egg, oil, and cornflour to chicken (remove from marinade?)
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until cooked through. Place under grill for 5 more minutes (?)
  • Heat oil in pan over medium-high. Splutter mustard seeds. Fry curry leaves. Add yogurt, tomato sauce, and garam masala. Saute for 2-3.
  • Stir in chicken.
