Number Of Ingredients 4

1 pound(s) bacon, cut into thirds
1 pound(s) little smokies
1 stick(s) butter
2 cup(s) brown sugar (reserve 1 cup for top)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375F. Cut the bacon into thirds and wrap each smokie.
  • Place all the wrapped smokies in a single layer in a baking dish.
  • Melt butter and add 1 cup of the brown sugar (reserve the other cup for later) and stir until mixed well. Pour the butter and brown sugar mixture on the smokies and bacon.
  • Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of brown sugar evenly over the top of the smokies.
  • Bake for 20 minutes then turn the heat up to 400F for about 15-20 minutes or until the bacon becomes crispy. (I like mine really crispy and cook longer)
