This classic cocktail recipe, made with gin, lemon, maraschino, and violette, dates back to 1916. Just be careful with that violette.

2 oz. Tanqueray gin
0.75 oz. lemon juice
0.5 oz. Luxardo maraschino liqueur
0.25 oz. Rothman & Winter crème de violette
Garnish: None

Steps:

  • Shake with ice, then fine-strain into a chilled coupe.
