Aunt Kay's Tuna-Noodle Casserole image

Mom had this in her recipe file. We don't have an Aunt Kay nor do Dad or I know who Ron or Kevin Muckway is. So you got me where she got this from. ????

Number Of Ingredients 12

6 ounce(s) medium noodles
6 1/2 ounce(s) albacore tuna, drained
1/2 cup(s) mayonnaise
1 cup(s) celery, diced
1/3 cup(s) onion, chopped
1/4 cup(s) green pepper, diced
1/4 cup(s) pimientos, chopped
1 can(s) cream of celery soup
1/2 cup(s) milk
4 ounce(s) old english sharp process cheese slices, diced
1/2 cup(s) slivered almonds
1 sm. can(s) sliced black olives

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Cook noodles in boiling salted water until tender; drain.
  • Combine noodles & next 6 ingredients; set aside.
  • In saucepan, blend soup & milk; heat through. Add cheese; heat & stir until cheese melts. Add to noodle mixture.
  • Turn into 9 x 13" baking dish. Top with almonds. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes. Garnish with sliced olives.
