Asparagus Parmesan image

15-minute side dish! Top tender asparagus with cheesy garlic butter and earthy mushrooms.

1 box (9 oz) frozen cut asparagus
6 mushrooms, thinly sliced
2 teaspoons butter or margarine
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Freshly ground pepper
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Cook asparagus as directed on package-except add mushrooms during last minute of cooking; drain.
  • Stir remaining ingredients into asparagus and mushrooms.
