Apple Crisp Pie image

The difference between a good apple pie and a fantastic apple pie is carmelizing the apples before putting them in the pie crust. The apples are partially cooked and they do not dry out during baking and the carmelization makes them so sweet. The apple crisp topping is well, what can I say except absolutley delish. We enjoyed it and I hope you do to.
