Apple Cider Sundaes image

If you like apple pie a la mode you will love this. All that's missing is the crust.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 1/2 cup(s) apple cider
1/3 cup(s) sugar
2 tablespoon(s) cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon(s) lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon
1 1/2 cup(s) finely chopped peeled tart apples
- vanilla ice cream

Steps:

  • Ina saucepan combine cider, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice and cinnamon; stir until smooth.
  • Add apples and bring to a boil; boil and stir for 2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  • Serve over ice cream.
