Aloha Chili image

The pineapple and brown sugar and vinegar kind of makes this lean toward a tropical flavor

2 lb ground beef
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 can(s) (20 oz) pineapple chunks, undrained
1 can(s) (16 oz) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can(s) (15 3/4 oz) pork and beans
1 c ketchup
1/4 c packed brown sugar
1/4 c white vinegar

Steps:

  • 1. In a dutch oven, cook beef and onion over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink
  • 2. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
