Yield 4 burgers

1/2 cup mayonaise
6 TB lime juice
1/3 cup drained pickled ginger
1 TB plus 1/4 cup soy sauce
2tsp wasabi paste
1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil
1 1/4 cup thin sliced red cabbage
1 1/4 cup thin Napa cabbage
1 1/4 cup shredded carrots
4 6 oz 1 in thick ahi tuna steaks
Hanburger Rolls

Steps:

  • Blend mayo, 2 TB lime juice, ginger, 1 TB soy sauce, wasabi paste, and sesame oil in processor until smooth. Add salt and pepper for taste. Mix red cabbage, Napa cabbage and carrots in medium bowl. Add 4 TB lime juice; toss. Season with salt and pepper. Place tuna on plate. Pour 1/4 cup soy sauce over; turnto coat. Let tuna and cabbate stand 15 minutes to 1 hour. Toss occasionally. Grill rolls coated with butter on one side. Spread with Mayo. Mound 1/4 cup cabbage slaw on each roll bottom. Grill tuna until cooked. 1-2 minutes per side for medium rare. Place tuna on cabbage atop rolls. Top with 1/4 cup slaw.
